I chose to construct my photo essay with all pictures that are taken at night. Specifically two nights, one night at Fenway Park and one night on the streets of Medford, MA. I thought it would be interesting to capture some of the feeling of one of baseballs most historic parks and the energy that lives inside it. So in my photos of Fenway I attempted to capture the some aspects of the park itself in a few of the photos, such as 5th and 6th photos, which focus on the field and the green monster. In the other photos of Fenway I tried to show more of the feeling inside Fenway by photographing fans and the big screen that shows the umpires discussing a call and a Red Sox homerun. I thought this was a fun way to show a typical night in Fenway Park, although many years have gone by Red Sox fans are all the same. Next in my photos of Medford at night I wanted to convey the feeling of actually walking the streets as if you were the one there walking. In the 4th photo I tried tilting the angle of my image to add a different feel to the photo than if the picture was taken straight on. The 3rd photo has a odd tint to it but I like the eerie feeling it leaves on the photo. It almost makes the house that is photographed seem haunted. All of my pictures connect because they are taken at night, both try to take the viewer and put them inside the photo as if they were really at the Red Sox game or they were walking the streets.
