The middle photo in the second row I took in the art gallery at the high school. In one of the cabinets there was a mirror on the back and so when I looked into that the doorway to the 500's was being reflected in the mirror. The photo only shows the reflection of the doorway, and not the original. I zoomed in on the mirror so I could capture all of the doorway yet also including some of the brick walls along the sides of the doorway. The shot happens to be centered, not following the rule of thirds but in this instance I think it works. I believe that this image is interesting for a very specific reason. The way the reflection appeared with the line that runs down the middle and the slight blurriness of the photo gives it an old-fashioned view of the doorway. This effect almost shows how the doorway would look in a flashback of the school from the 50's or some other decade. The photo has a sort of eerie mood that may lead the viewer to wonder what might be through the doorway and in the next hallway. I think this image could be something that looks like it was from an old thriller movie.
